WORKERS at one of Preston's largest factories face an uncertain future after rumours that the redundancy axe could soon be about to fall.

Employees at Goss Graphic Systems Ltd, of Greenbank St, Preston say they have been told 200 jobs will lost at the massive plant. Some say they have been told they may not even take home a salary in August.

Several staff members have spoken to the Citizen, saying they first heard about the pending cuts on Wednesday, with some leaving immediately in tears.

Company bosses at the firm, which makes printing presses, have refused to talk on the matter.
