ST Joseph's Playgroup will re-open its doors on Monday, August 12, with a new team.
After 12 years of dedicated service the old staff have moved on to new challenges.
But with the support of Leigh Education Action Zone and the Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership new staff has been found to follow in the footsteps of leaders Ann Ganley and Frances Blackburn (pictured) and their helpers.
Kathy Greven, the new playgroup leader, said: "We are excited at being given the opportunity to provide the community with a quality, caring, friendly, child centred environment.
"Our thanks to Ann and her staff for giving us such a good head start."
An open day is planned for Friday, July 16, and anyone interested is invited along between 10 am and 3pm.
The new team is playgroup leader, Kathy, with assistants Katrina Billinge, Diane Isherwood, Cheryl Garvey, Karen Kennedy, Jean Gornall, Elizabeth Law and Rachael White.
