GREAT Harwood remain top of the First Division with a narrow win at Burnley Road B. Globe A failed to take advantage of a game in hand, going down at Whalley A and Rushton St A, allowing Antley, victors over Ribblesdale A, to move into second place. Salesbury A stay bottom after a whitewash at Rushton St A, but regained some composure with a good win against Burnley Road D.
In the top of the table clash in Division Two, leaders Clitheroe Cricket were beaten by Come and Welcome, but held on to top spot with a win at Spring Hill. Clayton Gatty are joint second thanks to a he avy defeat of Hurst Green A. At the bottom, Coppice beat Waddington A, but saw their fellow strugglers Rishton BC, win their derby against Free Gardener to move closer to Ribblesdale B who could only draw at home to Spring Hill.
No change at the top of Division Three where leaders Globe B overcame Whalley B, and Sabden Black enjoyed the same result against their Red team. Burnley Road A's promotion hopes seem to have evaporated as they registered their second consecutive nil return, at Leisure Hour A, who are third, whilst Castle B were cemented to bottom spot by their A team.
The top four all won in the Fourth Division, where Hurst Green B beat the Grange to register their highest number of wins for several seasons.
