POP fledgling Kerri-Ann gave Blackpool schoolchildren an insight into the music business when she stopped off during a promotional tour.
Her first two singles have gone to the top of the Irish charts and to get a foothold in this country she visited Holy Family School to perform her latest single, Irreplaceable.
A short stint on stage was followed by a question and answer session from pupils and, according to head Malcolm Shellard, it was an experience enjoyed by all.
"The children loved it and were very keen to speak to her afterwards," he said. "She talked about making music videos, her schooldays and how her promotional work took her the length and breadth of the country.
"They also found out just how hard it was to do a job they thought was relatively easy.
"In all it was enjoyable, professionally executed and sensibly handled.
