BILLINGE slipped to defeat at the hands of Salisbury in the West Lancashire Cricket League on Saturday.
Billinge had first use of the Liverpool wicket and looked in good form. Andy Lyon hit a fine 39, while Shaun Middlehurst amassed 35. But the rest of the batsmen gave their wickets away cheaply and Billinge were all out for 110. Salisbury then passed the target for the loss of eight wickets. Mike Grimes claimed 3-15. Meanwhile, Action beat Goodlass and Singlehurst totalled a massive 310-5 on their way to beating Winwick 1. Winwick 2 defeated St Johns.
