AREN'T you just glad you didn't win the Lottery on Saturday?
Imagine the scene with winners all over the country whooping it up, after striking the jackpot, believing their millionaire dreams had come true.
What a deflation it must have been to discover there were 46 winners sharing the £7.1 million - and those with five numbers and the bonus were in for a £13,500 higher win? Just my kind of luck.
A bit of a sickener, but £152,000 is not to be sniffed at. I'd be perfectly happy with that
The winners'll just have to take consolation and thank their lucky stars they were'nt one of the 133 winners in January 1995.
I'm thrilled on the rare occasions I actually win a tenner.
Dream on...
On the subject of the Lottery I've not yet sussed out what this new Thunderball draw is all about.
But the new Saturday night show struck me as having the same kind of irritating music as the award winning, but painful "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?"
I hope that all game shows in future are not going to adopt this annoying format.
