DYNAMIC Dave Wilson has powered his way to a national title.
Dave, from North Road, St Helens, produced an all-action effort to lift the British crown at super middleweight in full-contact kick-boxing.
In front of a enthusiastic town hall audience, he floored Scottish champion Alex Wasaniwiz three times in the second round to clinch a technical knockout victory.
And this could be the stepping stone for bigger things for the man who trains at the St Helens Martial Arts and Fitness Studio, Tolver Street.
IKF world president Ste Fossum saw Dave's moment of triumph and commented: "Dave has the potential to be the future world champion."
