A REMARKABLE 105 years young - that's Miss Maggie Booth.
And it was only fitting she should be the centre of attraction at a special party to mark the big occasion.
More than 25 residents, staff and relatives joined celebrations at the Primrose Cottage Nursing Home in Hudcar Lane, Bury.
Miss Booth's niece, Doreen, baked a cake and the birthday girl celebrated with a slice and a sherry. The party certainly went with a swing with some of the 22 residents taking to the floor for a dance.
Miss Booth received two congratulatory greetings - including one from the Queen.
Born and raised in Richard Burch Street, Bury, she worked in a mill before retiring. She moved in to live with her sister in Hilton Street, Bury, before becoming a resident at Primrose Cottage.
