ADAM Eaton joined Preston North End from Everton this week - and paid manager David Moyes a glowing tribute.
The 19-year-old left-back cited Moyes' ambition as the main reason he chose to come to Deepdale.
Adam said: "I was on holiday and spoke to my agent and he told me that Preston were interested in me.
"I met David Moyes a few days after returning and he sold the club to me.
"David was very enthusiastic and he's a very good, young manager. He persuaded me in no time at all.
"I've seen the club's training ground and Preston is a big club to be at. Hopefully we'll win promotion next season."
But it was a big decision to leave Premiership side Everton. Adam added: "It was a big wrench to leave the club from a personal point of view But I had to move for the sake of my career."
