A 23-year man had his watch and £17 in cash stolen after being attacked in the early hours of Saturday, June 19.
The victim was in an alleyway off Duke Street, in St Helens town centre, at about 1am when he spotted two figures walking towards him.
Moments later he was knocked unconscious. When he came round he discovered that his watch and cash had been stolen. The victim received treatment at Whiston Hospital for cuts, grazes and swelling to his forehead, a black right eye, swelling to the right hand side of his jaw and bruising to his shoulder.
