A FORUM has been launched to set up a dialogue between businesses and councillors.
The Lancashire Business Forum has been established by Lancashire County Council ahead of a major shake-up.
"Local government is facing major changes which will have a dramatic impact on the way the county council works and a dialogue with the business community is crucial," said county councillor John West, leader of the council.
"The forum is a way to exchange views on important issues on a regular basis to make sure we keep in touch."
At the first meeting, Mike Clifford of Brtish Aerospace, Brian Gray of Baxi and Stuart Hayes of Leyland Trucks were among those who met with leading county councillors.
