TWO bag snatches near to Burnley bus station just after 6pm yesterday may be linked.
A woman in her 20s was walking near the top of the subway near to the Gala Social Club when a man approached her from behind and grabbed the straps of her shoulder bag.
She pulled back causing him to fall over. He then got up and ran off.
He is described as white, 20-25, very thin, with mousey or dark brown hair, short with a long scruffy fringe. He was clean shaven.

At about the same time a woman in her 30s was in a telephone kiosk in Croft Street when a man opened the door, reached inside and stole her bag from the shelf. It contained a purse, cash and personal documents.
The thief is described as white with a tanned complexion. He was in his late teens, 5ft 8in tall, slim with short, dark hair. He was wearing a blue top and dark trousers.
