As a weekly reader of the Lancaster Citizen, I would like to say that I always read avidly the straight-talking columns written by Citizen Smith.
As a heavily burdened council tax payer I want to know what is happening to our monies and where it all goes to.
Keep on with your straight talking and hard hitting articles. Who can take notice of the clever rhetoric of politicians and their spin doctors?
Look how many promises this Labour government has already broken. Carry on the good work - I know who I would rather listen to.
