CLASSROOM memories and the musical sounds of 30 years ago will be revived if Carl Dingsdale's reunion plan takes shape.

For Carl, an old boy of Rainford High, is attempting to arrange a social get-together for his classroom colleagues who started their first-year term in 1968-69 ("although anyone who attended in other years will be very welcome.")

Carl, of Canberra Avenue, Thatto Heath, has provisionally pencilled in September or October as possible dates for the knees-up at the school.

The 30th year reunion party and disco would be given added flavour by any help that Carl could obtain in digging out old records, tapes or CDs featuring the pop hits and other memorable music from the old pupils' school years.
