I WOULD like to thank all the people who responded so generously to my letter appealing for CDs. I would also thank the lady who sent a cash donation to enable us to purchase new CDs, and the manager of Vibes for his donation of disks.
I must also apologise to callers who left messages on the studio ansaphone and who have not had a reply due to a fault on the machine. If they could ring again on 0161 761 1019 we will call them back.
Our need for CDs is an ongoing problem and so if anyone does come across disks that they no longer require we will be only too happy to collect them. Ring the above number, contact reception at Fairfield Hospital, or write to us at Bury Lions Hospital Radio, Fairfield General Hospital, Rochdale Old Road, Bury BL9 7TD.
JOHN F. CULLEN,
broadcast chairman.
