WHAT do you get if you cross one monkey, 1,152 children and eight sports?
The answer is one week with the fully-qualified Co-op Sports for Schools SportsDrive instructors.
The SportsDrive Roadshow visited Deepdale Primary School this week as part of a tour to introduce schoolchildren to a variety of sports.
Dale Cooper, Sports for Schools co-ordinator, said: "The idea is to give the schoolchildren a taste of different sports.
"We're going round schools in the North West as part of a scheme by the Co-op to get free sport equipment into schools.
"For every £5 and more that people spend, they will receive vouchers towards equipment.
"We're showing them cricket, volleyball, hockey, tennis, various soccer skills and basketball among other sports."
And mascot Funky Monkey was on hand to to present each child with a certificate and Sportswear t-shirt.
