EXCELLENCE in academic and personal terms should be the goal of students at King Edward VII School, Lytham, according to headmaster Julian Wilde as he presented his report on School Founders' Day.
Mr Wilde addressed principal guest and former head Richard Woodfine as well as 500 students and parents, saying that in his sixth year as head he had been encouraged by the strong support from staff, parents and governors and impressed by the determination of his students.
"Each day I am delighted to see so many students taking every chance to improve their personal confidence and skills," he said. "I have been pleased to find a large number of boys working hard to achieve their academic potential."
