AN ambitious South Shore primary school has received a
glowing end-of-term report from OFSTED inspectors.
Thames Primary has been given a pat on the back for continuing to build on its achievements since its last inspection. and is delighted to hear that its strengths outweigh areas requiring improvement.
Top marks were earned in its last OFSTED report and inspectors say that since then standards of pupil attainment are even higher, teaching is significantly better and there has been a marked improvement in pupil behaviour.
The report says the school is "extremely well placed to bring about further improvement."
Headteacher Sandra Gillibrand said: "We are thrilled with this wonderful report. Thames is a school which strives for excellence for all."
