AN international call-up was the reward for Claire Hopkins when she competed in the British Transplant Games.
The 22-year-old student nurse from Ramsbottom picked up three gold medals in the mini marathon, 400m and 100m events at Birmingham's Alexandra Stadium.
Claire, who had a kidney transplant only six months ago, has now been selected for the England squad to compete in the World Transplant Games in Budapest later this year.
The trip will cost around £1,000 and Claire has won sponsorship from Ramsbottom company Morada.
