TALENTED teenager Lauren Stewart really hit the high notes to take first place in the senior section of the Star's ever-popular Young Stars of Tomorrow competition.
And it was a case of going one better for the 16-year-old from Dorgan Close, Rainhill, after being placed second last year.
But the Rainhill High School pupil is certainly no stranger to success, having won a number of other competitions including the Haven Grand Final, the John Houghton Trust competition, and the Barnardo's competition, as well finishing second in the Matthew Brown talent competition.
