AFTER the Lord Mayor's show would ably describe how Rushton St E must have been feeling after their 9-1 defeat at the hands of Burnley Road C in the Hyndburn and District League this week.
After weeks of victory upon victory, they now find close rivals Coppice within striking distance of their lead. Burnley Road C move into third.
Division Four also saw a rare defeat for Gatty Park who were probably a little rusty after a two week rest, going down 8-2 to Salesbury Red.
