BACUP junior scout band provided the music and pupils from the church school gave a display of country dancing at a Vicarage Garden Party at St Saviour's Church, New Line, Bacup.
The successful event also included traditional sports included egg and spoon race and a three-legged race won by the Vicar, the Rev Stephen Brook, who teamed up with Peter Scholes.
There were also sideshows and stalls with equipment loaned by Fearns High School, Stacksteads.
Mr Brooks said: "It was a brilliant day and was a day of fun, fellowship and finance in that order.
"We don't know yet how much was raised but the money will go towards church funds."
