DID we not recently have a council election?
Ian Forrest's remarks (Letters, July 5) brought doubts to my mind.
For some unknown reason, the electorate chose not to vote overwhelmingly for his party.
I met a councillor from a neighbouring authority who, when asked how he was going on said: 'It was easier being in opposition.'
I think everyone knows the solution to Blackburn's Roman Road estate - unfortunately, it's illegal.
