PARADISE, The Paradise Room, Blackpool Pleasure Beach (until Nov 6, excluding Fridays)

FREDDIE Mercury, Frank Sinatra and Harry Lauder are in Paradise - it's official!

They are three of the stars brought to life by Allan Stewart, comedy impressionist extraordinaire, in the luxurious Paradise Room at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

Amanda Thompson, at the helm of Stageworks Worldwide Productions, has created yet another spectacular in this classy cabaret, combining glitzy glamour with comedy and up-to-the minute, up-tempo music.

Choreographed by Phil Winston, dazzling dancers are dressed to thrill. The girls on my table whooped with wild delight at dreadlocked dancer Marc Esau from South Africa, and my husband was bowled over by a svelte blonde artiste called Catherine Mayer.

I was enthralled by the dancing of Jo Anne Cartwright and Alan Grundy, who headlined all the routines and, like all the cast of Paradise, gave their energetic all.

Madonna-like Nikita Scott thrilled us with original and evocative songs. Meanwhile Patrick Lemoine, a world champion in his art, has returned to Blackpool via the Paris Lido to captivate audiences with his comedic juggling balls.

Star of Paradise Allan Stewart produced some crazy characterisations, perfect impressions - his Boyzone and Celine Dion were amazing! - and had an easy rapport with his very appreciative first-night audience.

Take the stairway to Paradise and enjoy the view!
