WEARY holidaymakers were hit by "Costa Chaos" after a fleet of planes was impounded to meet an alleged £25 million debt.
And those whose flights were still going ahead faced long delays caused by a French air traffic pay dispute.
The impounded aircraft, owned by Hispania airlines and chartered by a number of UK holiday companies, were due to leave for destinations across the Mediterranean.
