BLACKBURN Sea Cadets would like to thank the people of Blackburn for supporting their recent flag day so generously.
We are most grateful for their assistance, which will help us to continue our work in preparing young boys and girls to become responsible adults.
It was nice to meet some of our ex-Cadets, too, who recalled the fun they had in their day. Also ex-naval servicemen who were pleased to see the uniform proudly worn and the Cadets were most interested to hear their anecdotes.
EILEEN M EASTHAM (Secretary, Blackburn Sea Cadets), Milton Close, Darwen.
