RIDING high all the way to Hickstead and Wembley is Melissa Furey.
The St Mary's RC High student won a place at both Horse Shows with a marvellous performance in the Cheshire County Show.
Yet Melissa wasn't even riding any of her own horses!
Instead, she rode the stately Riversdale Christoph for friend Leanne Goodwin, winning the intermediate showriding for U25s.
"It was wonderful," said the 17-year-old, of Tyldesley Old Road, Atherton.
Melissa (pictured) rides every day out of Atherton's Crab Fold Farm, where she stables her three horses, Oliver, Zack and Tommy. 284/162/34
