BIG Mc-smiles were on the faces on pupils from Penwortham County High School after a trip to McDonalds for a slap-up nosh.
Youngsters from class 7Y3 at the school, in Crows Hill Road, Penwortham, won the free meal courtesy of McDonalds, Riversway, after selling the most raffle tickets in a school competition.
The hard-working bunch sold stacks of lucky raffle tickets to family and friends and managed to rake in £99 for school funds.
Now, the cash will be added to more than £2,000 already raised by the PTFA to buy new equipment for the school.
