FIVE elderly mentally-handicapped residents were up for sale...along with their home!
County council officials were to investigate the "immoral and insensitive" way the Ribble Valley property was being marketed.
Councillors, and a watchdog for the mentally-handicapped, said they were "horrified" at the way residents were being offered as assets in the sale of Pendale House, Woone Lane, Clitheroe.
