SUPER swimer Helen Don-Duncan retained her 200 metres national backstroke title on Friday, beating Kate Sexton into second place.
It completed her hat-trick in claiming the National title for the third time in a row.
Helen, from Garswood, surprised everyone by gaining a Bronze medal in the Individual Medley, which was intended as a warm-up for her main event.
Ivor Tattum, her coach at St. Helens Swim Scheme, is pleased with her preparation for the European Championships which take place in Istanbul in three weeks.
