THE rising stars of Pilkington Recs did the club proud in their centenary summer tournament.
The under eights defeated Wigan St Cuthberts 12-8 to win the competition.
And the under sevens were successful afte beating Golborne and Leigh East and drawing with Orrell.
In the final they beat Orrell 24-4. Man of the tournament was Sam Smith, top tackler Josh Greaves, most improved Tom Marren and coaches award winner Liam Hill
