POLICE investigating allegations of misconduct involving a Hyndburn primary school teacher have interviewed the man, who is currently suspended from duty.
The police's Family Protection Syndicate launched an inquiry following claims of misconduct made about a teacher at St Mary's RC School, Oswaldtwistle.
Det Sgt Neil Gregson said the teacher had been interviewed at the Clitheroe-based Family Protection Syndicate this week in connection with the allegations.
Police have already spoken to a number of pupils, and said some made further claims about the teacher, who was suspended last month pending the outcome of the inquiry. St Mary's headteacher Stephen Wells has said he was unable to comment.
