A GROUP of Prince's Trust Volunteers from St Helens College are flexing their gardening muscles to help out in the grounds at a St Helens Women's Refuge Centre.
The 16-strong team are undertaking the 12-week voluntary course which calls for them to carry out various tasks for the good of the local community and they will also be restoring St Helens' own Kid Eating Snake for children, which once took pride of place in the Hardshaw Centre.
They are now on the lookout for plants and gardening equipment and donations can be made by contacting the group on St Helens 623376.
