MARKS and Spencer have announced that their St Helens store in Church Street has been selected as one of 100 stores across the UK to undergo a complete modernisation programme.
The new look will include striking window displays and a simpler store lay-out, refurbished fitting rooms and improved facilities for customer ordering and service enquiries.
Heather Lamming, manager of the St Helens store, said: "Staff are very excited by the news and I am sure our customers will really welcome the new approach. We are all committed to providing the service that they value so highly."
The modernisation is expected to be completed within three months.
