TRAGIC Daniel Taylor's school pals remembered their friend and held a day in his honour.
The Blackburn St Luke and St Philip's Primary School pupil died in his father's arms at Derian House Children's Hospice earlier this year after a brave battle against leukaemia.
But his school friends have not forgotten him and held a "Daniel Day" to celebrate his life.
Daniel's family, of Shaw Close, Blackburn, including his dad Walter who nursed him to the end, all went along to the special day.
Jill Harding, headteacher of St Luke and St Philip's, said: "We had so many people here that we didn't know where we were going to put them all. We have a wall dedicated to Daniel, with pictures of him and his work books on display."
