LANCASHIRE Lynx will be looking to get back on the winning trail tomorrow when fellow strugglers Rochdale Hornets visit Victory Park.
Last Friday Lynx slipped to a third narrow defeat against Kevin Tamati's Whitehaven despite looking the better team for most of the game.
But this week coach Steve Hampson welcomes back Neil Alexander who missed last week's game with an ankle injury and long-term absentees Andy Bennett and Ian Gildart.
Paul Norton is still recovering from minor knee surgery whilst John Donno is struggling with a recurrence of a groin problem which will need another operation in the near future.
Last weekend Australian trialist Robert Rose made his debut for Lynx, but despite showing some neat touches he has not been offered a contract.
Rochdale, like Lynx, have struggled for any sort of form all season. They currently stand two places above Lynx in the league having won six of their 21 games so far.
After a recent run of poor results, player-coach Deryck Fox was dismissed and his temporary replacement is ex-Chorley player coach Bob Eccles.
They have lost star hooker Mick Shaw to Halifax, but one player familiar to Lynx will be scrum half Chris Kelly, released at the end of last season.
Lynx will select from: Roberts, Ratcliffe, Murray, Abram, Jones, Alexander, Flanagan, Horton, Donno, Guest, Walsh, Solomon, Hodgkinson, Geritas, Pret, Bennett, Gildart, Gee, Parsley. Kick-off 3pm.
