AN all-day Northern Soul extravaganza is set to take place at the latest Soul At The Ooze event in Barnoldswick next month.
Top DJs including Roman, Ginger Taylor, Big Mick, Terry Davies, Jim "Goodnight" Hulmes, Johnny "Grasshopper" Pearson, Mike Kemp, Dave "Trawden Thunderbolt" Barret, Ian and Paul Woods are set to play at the Ouzledale Social Club in Fountain Street on Sunday, August 22.
Last year's event received backing from Jazz FM disc jockey Richard Searling and attracted soul fans from across the country as well as journalists from specialist magazines.
On July 30 The Ooze plays host to producer and DJ Dean Johnson from Expansion Records, who is set to play a Northern set with a few surprises. Roman, Mike Kemp and Geoff Salter will play supporting slots. The event costs £1 and runs from 8.30pm till late. Details from 01282 613020.
