CARING regulars at Rosemount Working Men's Club, Stacksteads, dug deep to raise money for the refugees from Kosovo.
Club president Eddie Elsworth, said: "People were talking about what had been going on in Kosovo and how they would like to help, so we organised the fund-raiser. The event is set to have raised several hundred pounds. Although the fighting may have stopped, the problems over there will not go away for some time."
There was a raffle with star prizes of £500, £250 and a colour TV. Britannia Coconutters gave a demonstration and also got involved with the welly-throwing competition.
Artists Jon Summer, from Padiham, Kevin Curtis, from Accrington and Debbie James, Waterfoot, were among the entertainers.
MP for Rossendale and Darwen Janet Anderson gave her support by drawing the winning raffle tickets.
