THEATRE nurse Lilian Routh will be able to enjoy a holiday of a lifetime after scooping the jackpot of a £1,200 travel voucher in the Burnley Health Care Trust lottery.
Lilian, who has worked as a theatre nurse with the trust for 19 years, has been in the hospital's lottery draw since day one.
She said: "I have previously won £500 and £50 but I am delighted to win the holiday."
Lilian, who is married to Garth and has two grown-up sons, said she is already going on a cruise to the Far East later this year so the voucher will probably be used for a holiday next year.
Business development manager Chris Allen had the idea of organising a lottery open to all staff at Burnley Health Care ten years ago and it generates £70,000 each year.
Half the money is given in prizes: £2,000 each month and the star prizes of a car at Christmas and a holiday in the summer.
The other half buys equipment for the Trust.
Local travel firm Altham's subsidises the £1,250 holiday.
