CARL Fogarty wants to stay with Ducati next year despite reports of a mega-money offer from Superbike rivals Suzuki.
Reports in today's Motor Cycling News suggest Suzuki are lining up a £2 million offer in a bid to persuade Foggy to ride one of their GSX-R's in next year's World Superbike championship.
But the Blackburn bullet told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph he wants to stick with Ducati and is waiting for talks with bosses from the Italian giants about a new contract later in the season.
"You tend to get a lot of rumours like this knocking around at this time of year," said Fogarty.
"But I've not been contacted by Suzuki so far.
"Ducati said they'd sort everything out about next year in September and that's okay with me.
"But that's where I want to be and I imagine I'm 70 per cent certain of staying there.
"Obviously, if other offers do come in then I'd want to sit on them for as long as possible so I've got something to fall back on. "But I'm certainly not signing for Suzuki next year as it stands.
"Whether that changes over the next couple of months or not, I don't know.
"It depends what Ducati say."
Suzuki made an unsuccessful bid to lure Foggy from Ducati last year.
They turned their attentions to his old sparring partner Pier-Francesco Chili instead and they are now trying to team the pair up in a 'dream ticket' for next season.
