ORGANIC gardening enthusiasts from across the North West gathered to share information during a special meeting.
More than 80 people from 10 different groups attended the event, at Altham Corn Mill, in Burnley Road.
It featured lectures on gardening matters ranging from overseas projects and wildlife to bee keeping.
Most of the gardeners who attended are members of the Henry Doubleday Research Association, which is the largest organic gardening members association in Britain and Europe.
Similar events are expected to be held in the future.
