AS part of the celebrations marking The Queen's visit to Lancaster tomorrow Dr Jack Cunningham, the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, will be hosting a special welcoming ceremony at the Priory Church and Castle.
Dr Cunningham will receive The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh at a thanksgiving service which will attract more than 800 people from all over the North West. He said: "It's a tremendous honour for me to welcome the Queen and The Duke on this historic occasion. I am very much looking forward to this special day for Lancashire and the city of Lancaster."
Her Majesty's visit marks the 600th anniversary of the link between the Monarchy and the Duchy of Lancaster.
