HREE people were taken to hospital following an accident involving two off-road vehicles at about 6.20pm on Monday, July 19 in Heyes Avenue, Rainford.
Firefighters helped ambulance crews to get the occupants out of their vehicles and a 40-year-old woman and an eight-year-old boy were taken to Whiston Hospital for treatment, while a 20-year-old woman, suffering from whiplash and back injuries, was taken to Ormskirk General Hospital.
