BURY'S Kosovar refugees will start moving into their new homes at the end of the month.
Some 15 properties have been lined-up for those families who want to remain in the town, at least for the time being.
Ten of the houses are on the "Dickiebird" estate and all classified as being in low demand, ie refused by people on council's waiting list.
The remaining five houses are elsewhere in the Chesham area and deemed to be medium demand.
Housing bosses are trying to keep families and friends together and in areas where children can benefit from language support in local schools.
The number of houses needed may fall as more refugees apply to return to their homeland: around a quarter are expected to go back within the next two months.
