BARGAIN hunters started queuing from 4am to grab cut price clothes at a Blackburn town centre store.
Next, in the shopping centre, opened at 7am for its summer sale and although business was brisk the expected crowds failed to turn up.
Barriers were placed outside the store and police and security staff kept an eye on the situation following chaotic scenes at last year's sale.
Large queues formed inside the shop and a steady stream of shoppers came for the half price clothes but the predicted pandemonium never materialised.
