A driver from Blackburn was seriously injured in a crash in Warwickshire which claimed the life of a West Midlands man.
Arnold Ashton, 51, of Selborne Street, Redlam, was driving a Renault Espace when he was in a head-on collision with a Peugeot 305 estate car.
The other driver, who has not been named, died at the crash scene on the A429 between Stratford and Warwick at 9pm on Sunday.
Mr Ashton is stable in Warwick hospital with serious leg and chest injuries.
His passengers, Michael Blackburn, Heidi Blackburn, and Terry Noble, all of Derbyshire, were also injured.
Mr Blackburn, 52, suffered serious chest injuries. Miss Blackburn, 18, is in intensive care with suffered serious head and chest injuries.
Mr Noble, 23, suffered minor chest and shoulder injuries, and was allowed home.
