THE foxhunting issue has raised its head again and the 'countryside carers' are objecting to us townies interfering in their sports.
Well, perhaps one of them can explain to this townie, if the fox is such a nuisance why, during cubbing, when young fox cubs are captured and exposed to the dogs, they are not humanely killed instead of being released unharmed.
Also, what happens to the horses during the close-season when foxes are not hunted so that they can breed in peace?
If the 'country' people are such good guardians of the countryside, how come there are more bird, wildlife and flower species in the towns than in the countryside?
