LADS and lasses at Burnley Boys' Club are enjoying a new facility at their Barden Lane headquarters - a cafe, complete with posters, bright menus, McDonalds-style seating, TV and video and a sports viewing window.
The transformation of a former meeting room has been a 12 month project, with sponsorship from Burnley Irish Democratic League Club, former Mayor Coun Pat Bennett's charity fund and the Lancashire Association of Clubs for Young People.
The opening ceremony for the £2,500 centre was performed by Burnley MP Peter Pike.
