BURNLEY-based Peter Scott Printers has been praised for the progressive nature of its business by East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce chief executive Michael Damms.
He was invited to check out the company's operation and meet the management team - founder Peter Scott, sales director Paul Wood and production manager Steve Wareing.
He was greatly impressed with the progress that had been made since his previous visit five years ago.
He said: "Peter Scott have really pushed themselves to the forefront by embracing new and advanced technologies.
"We believe that such advanced companies have a strong role to play in the area and feel that connections and networks used by the chamber will be of assistance."
Mr Damms was also impressed with the hands-on role taken by management and their teamwork with staff members.
The idea for its most recent advertising campaign - whereby anyone who spends over a certain amount is presented with a mountain bike - came from a receptionist.
