FOLLOWING the observations of Mr J A Marsden (Letters, July 9) regarding the plaque erected at the Darwen Street Bridge in Blackburn to the memory of George Dewhurst, as his great-great-granddaughter I should be very pleased if something could be done to restore whatever part of this memorial remains.
